Dr. Richard J. Moore
Richard Moore, a highly esteemed Consultant Oral Surgeon, registered on the Oral Surgery Specialist List with the General Dental Council UK.
His journey in the field of dentistry began in 2002 when he was awarded his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from the University of Birmingham, UK. His pursuit of knowledge and expertise took him across the globe, completing an externship in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and gaining valuable experience in Vancouver, Canada.
Richard’s credentials are further enhanced by his Fellowships at both the Faculty of Dental Surgery and the Faculty of Dental Trainers at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He is also a proud Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Currently, Richard is the Vice Dean (Dentistry) and Associate Professor at Lincoln Medical School, University of Lincoln UK and an Honorary Consultant Oral Surgeon at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Richard’s professional interests are as diverse as they are impressive. He is a reviewer for several academic journals and has lectured internationally. His clinical interests encompass all aspects of oral surgery, dental implants, facial aesthetics with a particular focus on managing medically compromised patients, third molars, and treatment under conscious sedation.
Outside of dentistry, he contributes to the Resuscitation Council UK as an Advanced Life Support Instructor and Provider.
